I'm feeling pretty good right now, I just got a ton of chemistry homework done and I'm feeling much better since my weird illness on Tuesday. I had over 100 degree fever Tuesday night and felt horrible. I am really worried about how I did on the midterm because I was so out of it on Wednesday... Wednesday was just a strange day all around. It was sunny when I left to class at 7:45am and cloudy when we got out at 10am, then I went to my chem class and it was pouring, then I left chem and it was sunny, then I got lunch and it was sunny out, then I needed to go to pysch and it started HAILING, and when I was in class it got sunny again! The weather just kept luring me in to the false sense that I could make it through the day and still go to all my classes (I hate missing class even if I'm sick) but then as soon as I was ready to leave it became miserable weather. I just still haven't gotten a grasp on the whole Davis weather patterns, and who knows if I ever will. I think my best bet at this point is to always have a raincoat, tank-top, jeans, and flip-flops on. Well, I am off to the DC for dinner :)

  1. Agreed!! Davis weather is completely yo-yo-ing me around. I wake up 2 it being sunny only to get drenched by an unexpected rain storm mid-day. On top of that the last couple weeks have been those weeks inbetween spring and winter where it is cold in the morning and warm by mid-day. This is making going to UWP in the morning a huge hassle....as i have two choices-either bike to class with cold air hitting my underdressed body and risk getting sick or wear a sweater and then have to drag a sweater around to all my classes ( could be me just whining ) but seems the weather has finally stabilized. I threw all my riancoats in the back of the closet and im going to be PISSED if i have to bring them out again....from here on out swimsuit season!

  2. Tell me about it! I decide to not put on a sweater because it is so warm and before I know I'm stuck walking a quarter mile back to my car wind and rain in my face. One day the rain water soaked through my shoes and I wanted to go to the gym but my socks got wet. I was thinking since running makes me sweat anyway it shouldn't matter but I got to thinking and I realized that I didn't want some fungal infection just because I didn't want to buy new socks. So I overcame my cheapness and bought new socks from the pro shop

  3. I agree with you! Coming from sunny perfect weathered southern california, Davis's bi- polar weather has been annoying me so much! One moment it is sunny so i wear flip flops outside and the next thing you know its hailing and going crazy! ALthough davis is beautiful during spring, someone got to do something about the weather.!!!! and im sorry to hear that you were so sick daniellee =(
